Wally’s Farm is a splendidly renovated farm, situated in the peaceful countryside of Poperinge. From its "naturally" built terrace, you have an exquisite view of the hills of West Flanders. Outside you can breathe the atmosphere of country life as it used to be. Once inside, it feels like you’re on the other side of the ocean, i.e. in Memphis. The theme of Wally’s Farm is the heyday of the Golden Sixties, with Elvis as the kingpin.
The Farm’s specialities are "koteletten" (pork chops) and "socissen" (sausages), grilled on a wood fire, with a "stutte" (slice of bread), "patatten met de pele" (potatoes in their jackets) and the very tasty garlic butter. While you are wetting your whistle with a Wally’s draught beer, you’ll certainly be enjoying the Elvis show Wally is performing. He’s taking care of the - live - ambiance with songs of the sixties and Country & Western music. Every first and third Sunday of the month there is a special: Wally then performs with his band, "The Rocking Daddy’s", a live spectacle which simply drags you off you chair. At Wally’s Farm there’s a large parking place for busses and cars. To make reservations you should call Wally’s Farm.
Wally’s Farm is open on Fridays, on Saturday evenings from 19 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. and on public holidays. We’re also open in July and August, closing day: Monday.
